These drawings are my initial designs for a character called Tooky.

The character's designs initially started from a number of sketches after a design brief had been finalised. The design brief; in fact, was a personal preference......apart from the fact that the character had to be a small child's alien friend, the only other contraint was that the it had to be a biped (I haven't animated one before).

I like the pupil size, It makes him look a little dizzy, which will be one of his character traits.

Next to model will be his tongue....at the moment I'm thinking of a long slimey one that hangs out of his mouth from one side....like a little puppy.

At the moment his body design is somewhere between a chicken and a dinosaur...not too sure why....but the body seems to suit him...and as he's going to eventually be an alien...I think it might work out quite well.
